M2S

If you wish to communicate with your friends and family from different platforms, then you should have a look at M2S. This lightweight messenger provides most of the functions you would expect from other similar applications on your PC, web browser and on your mobile device. It gives you the possibility of chatting with your contacts from a computer, while they are on the road.

M2S is distributed as a freeware application. You can install it in a matter of seconds, on any modern Windows platform. What's more, the application is available as a browser plug-in for Mozilla Firefox and you can also find it on Google Play, for Android-powered devices. Apart from a working Internet connection and an online account, the application doesn't have any other requirements.

M2S comes with a compact user interface, on which you can manage your contacts, groups, post status messages and tweak the application's main settings on separate tabs. New contacts can be added to the list by simply typing their names in a search field and clicking a button. The application places the usual tools at your disposal, when it comes to chatting with another person, including smileys, a block feature, a search bar and so on.

Besides chatting with individual contacts in private, it is also possible to chat in groups. You can either join existing groups or create a new one yourself. When you join a group, M2S will add it automatically to a list, so you can join it at a later date much faster. Also, you can select the States tab, where you can post status messages or view messages posted by your friends, on separate sub-tabs.

A particular advantage that is worth mentioning is the fact that M2S comes with various examples and templates for creating your own applications, based on the API of M2S.
